A Structured Course for Character Building and Islamic Manners

The Tarbeeyati Nisaab course at Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center is a special learning program designed to build Islamic character, good manners, and practical understanding of deen in daily life. This course is offered under the Darussalam Educational System, and Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center teaches it through affiliation and guidance from this educational system.

The purpose of this course is not only to give information, but to help students understand how Islam guides us in our behavior, habits, speech, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday actions. In today’s time, children and young learners need more than academic knowledge. They also need proper tarbiyah, moral awareness, Islamic manners, and answers to common questions related to life and religion. This course is designed to fulfill that need in a simple, structured, and meaningful way.

Course Duration and Structure

The duration of this course is six months. It is taught as a semester-based program, in which students study selected books and complete their learning step by step. The course includes two main books:

• Tarbeeyati Nisaab

• 60 Ahadith

Both books are taught with regular lessons, memorization, explanation, and revision. The aim is to help students understand important Islamic teachings and apply them in their daily lives.

Although this course is specially beneficial for children, adults can also learn from it. Many topics discussed in these books are useful for everyone because they are connected with manners, character, daily life, and Islamic responsibilities.

Book One: Tarbeeyati Nisaab

The first book, Tarbeeyati Nisaab, focuses on important aspects of Islamic training and character development. It discusses different moral and tarbiyah-related topics in an easy and practical way. The book includes questions and answers related to Islamic manners, good behavior, and basic religious understanding.

Students are taught these questions with their answers so they can remember them clearly. This method helps them develop confidence and gives them the ability to answer basic Islamic and moral questions in a simple way. These questions are based on Islamic teachings and Shariah guidance, so students learn what Islam says about important matters of life.

The topics in Tarbeeyati Nisaab help students understand how a Muslim should behave at home, in society, with parents, teachers, siblings, friends, and other people. It encourages respect, truthfulness, kindness, discipline, cleanliness, patience, gratitude, responsibility, and good conduct.

This book also includes important Ahadith and selected Surahs. Students are guided to memorize them and understand their basic message. Through this, they develop love for the teachings of Islam and become more aware of the importance of good character.

Book Two: 60 Ahadith

The second book in this course is 60 Ahadith. This book includes short and meaningful Ahadith related to daily life. These Ahadith are easy to memorize and very useful for children and young learners. Each Hadith carries an important lesson that can improve a person’s actions, manners, and way of thinking.

The book also includes Urdu and English translation, which makes it easier for students to understand the meaning. When children memorize Ahadith with translation, they do not only learn words; they also understand the message behind them.

These Ahadith are taught regularly so students can slowly memorize them and apply their lessons in life. They learn about good manners, honesty, kindness, respect, cleanliness, patience, helping others, controlling anger, speaking good words, and following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The 60 Ahadith book is especially helpful because the Ahadith are short, practical, and connected with daily routine. Students can easily remember them and use them as guidance in different situations.

Daily Learning and Revision

In this course, lessons are taught with consistency. Students are encouraged to memorize, revise, and understand the material properly. The teacher explains the lesson in simple words and helps students connect it with real-life examples.

The purpose is not only to finish the book, but to make sure students understand what they are learning. When children learn a Hadith or a tarbiyah question, they are also encouraged to think about how they can practice it in their life.

Regular revision is also an important part of the course. Since the course includes memorization of questions, answers, Ahadith, and selected Surahs, students revise their lessons again and again so the learning becomes strong and lasting.

Test by Darussalam Educational System

At the end of the semester, when the books are completed, representatives from the Darussalam Educational System conduct a test. This test checks how well students have learned and understood the course material.

This examination process creates seriousness and motivation among students. They know that their effort will be reviewed, so they prepare with more focus and interest. It also helps parents see the progress of their children.

After the test, students are also encouraged through rewards and prizes. These rewards create happiness, confidence, and motivation in children. They feel proud of their achievement and become more excited to continue Islamic learning.
