About Scholar
Ustadha Rubina Hashmi is an experienced Islamic scholar, educator, and the Founder of Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center. She completed her Dars-e-Nizami and received her Sanad-e-Faraghat in 1988 from Madrassa Ayesha Sadiqa Lilbanat, Gujranwala. Her educational journey gave her a strong foundation in Qur’an, Hadith, Arabic, Islamic sciences, and religious teaching.
After completing her studies, she began her teaching services at Jamia Mira-Tul-Quran Wal-Hadith Lilbanat, Mandi Warburton, where she served from 1991 to 2003 for almost 12 years. During this period, she remained deeply involved in teaching, guiding students, and serving the cause of Islamic education.
In 2003, she moved to Saudi Arabia. From 2004 to 2017, she served for almost 13 years at Duha International School, Riyadh, as an Arabic and Islamiyat Teacher. Along with teaching, she also worked in different departments of the school and continued to contribute with dedication and responsibility. During her stay in Riyadh, she also organized weekly Islamic classes in different areas, where women learned Qur’an, Hadith, and Tafseer under her guidance.
After returning to Pakistan in 2017, she continued her religious services at the household and community level for nearly 7 years. Seeing the need for a proper Islamic learning platform for women, young girls, and children in her area, she officially founded Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center in 2024.
This institute is considered the first dedicated madrassa in the area for women, girls, and children. Through this platform, Ustadha Rubina Hashmi aims to spread Islamic knowledge, connect women with the Qur’an and Sunnah, and provide a respectful environment where they can learn deen alongside their daily responsibilities.
Her life reflects a continuous journey of learning, teaching, and serving Islam with sincerity and devotion.
