Weekly Classes for Khawateen

Weekly Tarjuma-tul-Qur’an bit Tafseer classes designed for learning and spiritual connection

A Special Qur’an Tafseer Program for Busy Women

The Weekly Classes for Khawateen at Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center are specially designed for women who sincerely want to learn the Qur’an but cannot attend madrassa on a daily basis. Many women have family responsibilities, children, household duties, personal commitments, or other time limitations that make it difficult for them to join regular daily classes. For such women, this weekly program provides a beautiful and practical opportunity to stay connected with the Qur’an.

At Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center, we understand that every woman’s routine is different. Some women can give time daily, while others cannot. But every woman deserves the chance to understand the message of the Qur’an. That is why a special weekly class has been arranged so that women who are unable to attend regularly can still come once a week, learn Tafseer, and strengthen their relationship with the Book of Allah.

Purpose of the Weekly Class

The main purpose of this class is to help women understand the Qur’an through Tafseer in a simple, meaningful, and practical way. The Qur’an is a complete source of guidance, but many women do not get the opportunity to understand its message deeply. Through these weekly classes, students learn the explanation of Qur’anic verses, their lessons, and how those teachings can be applied in daily life.

This program is not only about listening to a lecture. It is a source of learning, reflection, and personal improvement. Women are guided to understand the wisdom of the Qur’an and connect its teachings with their homes, relationships, manners, responsibilities, and personal lives.

Designed for Women with Busy Routines

One of the most important features of this program is that it is flexible and suitable for women who cannot attend daily classes. Instead of feeling left behind, they can join once a week and continue their journey of Islamic learning.

Many women want to learn but hesitate because they think they cannot manage regular attendance. This class removes that difficulty. It gives them a fixed weekly day where they can come, sit in a peaceful learning environment, listen to Tafseer, ask questions, and refresh their hearts with Qur’anic guidance.

The aim is to make Islamic learning accessible, realistic, and manageable for women of different ages and responsibilities.

Weekly Class at the Institute

At Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center, the weekly Tafseer class for women is held every Saturday. This day is specially arranged for those women who are unable to join the daily madrassa schedule but still wish to remain connected with the Qur’an.

Class Day: Saturday
Focus: Qur’an Tafseer for Khawateen

During this class, women are taught the meaning and explanation of Qur’anic verses in an easy and understandable way. The discussion is kept simple, respectful, and relevant to everyday life so that every woman can benefit from it, whether she is a beginner or already has some Islamic learning background.

Learning the Qur’an with Understanding

The beauty of Tafseer is that it opens the heart and mind towards the deeper message of the Qur’an. When a woman understands what Allah is saying, her recitation becomes more meaningful, her worship becomes more focused, and her daily choices become more guided.

Through the weekly Tafseer class, women learn about faith, patience, gratitude, family values, good manners, accountability, modesty, rights and responsibilities, and many other important teachings. These lessons help them improve themselves and also bring positive change into their homes.

A woman who understands the Qur’an can guide her children better, manage family matters with wisdom, and face life’s challenges with stronger faith.

Outreach Tafseer Program

Along with the weekly class at the institute, Hidayat-un-Nisa Islamic Center also works to spread Qur’anic learning beyond the madrassa environment. The founder and chairperson, Ustadha Rubina Hashmi, personally conducts a weekly Tafseer session in another area every Thursday.

This outreach program is an important part of the institute’s mission. Instead of limiting Qur’anic learning to one location, the effort is made to reach women in different communities. Many women attend these gatherings, listen to Tafseer, and benefit from Islamic guidance in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

Outreach Day: Thursday
Timing: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Focus: Qur’an Tafseer and Islamic Guidance

These sessions allow more women to connect with the Qur’an, especially those who may not be able to visit the institute regularly.

Community Learning and Connection

The Thursday outreach Tafseer gathering is not only a class; it is also a source of community connection. Women come together to learn, reflect, and strengthen their faith. After the session, refreshments are also arranged, creating a warm and respectful environment where women feel welcomed and valued.

Such gatherings help build a positive Islamic atmosphere in the community. They encourage women to make time for deen, even within busy routines. They also create a sense of sisterhood, support, and shared learning.

Through the sincere efforts of Ustadha Rubina Hashmi, Tafseer and Islamic guidance are gradually reaching more areas. The goal is to spread beneficial knowledge and help women understand the Qur’an in a way that brings peace, clarity, and improvement into their lives.

Why This Program Matters

Many women spend their lives fulfilling responsibilities for others but do not always get time for their own religious learning. This weekly program gives them a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose. It reminds them that learning the Qur’an is not limited to a particular age or stage of life.

Whether a woman is young, married, a mother, elderly, or busy with household responsibilities, she can still benefit from the Qur’an. Even one dedicated day in a week can become a powerful source of change if attended with sincerity and consistency.

A Supportive Environment for Khawateen

The weekly classes are held in a respectful and comfortable environment where women can learn without pressure. The teaching style is simple and easy to understand. The purpose is not to make learning difficult, but to make the message of the Qur’an approachable and practical.

Women are encouraged to listen, understand, ask questions, and slowly apply Qur’anic teachings in their daily lives. This makes the class beneficial not only for knowledge but also for self-improvement and spiritual growth.
